Crypto World News: Cryptocurrency asset custody company Taurus has obtained an MIFID II investment license in Cyprus, allowing it to operate within the European Union. The license enables Taurus to provide secondary trading of tokenized bonds, fund shares, stocks, and structured products for banks and asset management firms. Taurus co-founder and managing partner Sébastien Dessimoz stated that banks prefer to work with fully compliant entities. Taurus has also partnered with companies such as Deutsche Bank, ClearBank, KBC, Santander, State Street, Caceis, Pictet, and Swissquote in the areas of crypto asset custody and tokenization.
