I treat complexity as an enemy, so lately when I see phrases like “data availability, ordering, finality,” I only follow one main thread: what you do on-chain—can others actually see it, will it get cut in line, and in the end does it still count. Put simply, it comes down to: has the record been written, written in what order by whom, and once it’s written can you take it back? No matter how fancy the other terms are, in the end they still circle back to these three questions.

In the past couple of days, I’ve also been seeing news from certain regions about changing taxes and compliance tightening and loosening in waves. Once expectations for deposits and withdrawals shift, everyone cares even more about whether “I can get my funds out safely and reliably” and whether they’ll get stuck. Anyway, my own approach is pretty timid: test new things with small amounts first, then wait until the narrative is clear before gradually adding more—I don’t follow the emotional surge. That’s it for now.
