I just came across some interesting figures about Pakistan's population. It turns out there are currently about 254-255 million people living there, and this number continues to grow rapidly. For comparison, it is the fifth-largest country in the world by population, accounting for almost 3% of all humanity.

What’s surprising is that Pakistan’s population is growing at an average rate of about 1.57% per year, which is a quite noticeable increase. At this rate, in a few years, it will already be over 260 million. Additionally, the population there is very young, with an average age of only 20.6 years, which is much lower than in developed countries.

It’s interesting to consider how such rapid population growth in Pakistan will affect the country’s economy and infrastructure in the coming decades. Demographic explosion is always a challenge for any nation.
