Yesterday I talked with Bizyugo over lunch, and what he shared was quite eye-opening. He said that in this cycle, there hasn't been a project that matches what Hyperliquid offered before. But the most important thing from that conversation was Bizyugo's insight into the characteristics of projects that can truly deliver.

According to Bizyugo, in each cycle there are only 1-2 projects that can be jackpot. First, a solid project that generates revenue, not just hype. Second, a fair launch with healthy tokenomics and a community-first approach, meaning the only way to get tokens before launch is by using the product directly. Third, and this is crucial, no VC backing. Why? Because if there's VC backing, the FDV at launch can immediately skyrocket to 1 billion due to overvaluation. Without VC, even if you buy at launch, you're still considered early.

I remember the previous cycle, Bizyugo rode the YFI airdrop up to 50k, and in this cycle, he also caught AERO and HYPE since the airdrop stage. This is not a coincidence, but the result of extraordinary research and patience. He knows what to look for, and he knows when to hold.

What Bizyugo also highlights is the mindset you need to have. Can you be patient until the peak, then stay locked in during the bear market to hunt the next alpha? Because the reality is, you only need 1-2 projects per cycle to make your net worth jump significantly. That alone is enough.

I really respect Bizyugo, honestly. He literally started from zero and now he's in the nine figures USD, all from trading and researching DeFi. Never became a KOL, never sold anything. His knowledge of DeFi is second to none. Many want him to join podcasts, but Bizyugo prefers to stay low profile. I'm still trying to convince him to go on camera, but yeah, he's careful about exposure. But I believe, someday he will share more knowledge with the community.
