I just reviewed the basic theory about the units of measurement on exchanges because I kept confusing them at first. Today I’m sharing this note so that newcomers can understand as well.

Usually on charts, 1K = 1k, 1M = 1 million. But how much money is 1B? It’s exactly 1 billion. Additionally, there’s 1E = 100 million, 1T = 1,000 billion. At first, I often confused 1B and 1E, but remember that knowing how much money 1B represents will prevent mistakes.

Exchanges use these symbols to abbreviate huge numbers, so if you want to understand volume or market cap, you need to grasp each one clearly. Do you already know how much money 1B represents, or do you still get confused like me?
