According to a public announcement from Glasscock County, SpaceX plans to invest $55 billion to build a new-generation vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturing and advanced computing facility in Texas. If all subsequent project phases are completed as planned, the total capital investment could be as high as $119 billion. The Terafab project is jointly developed by SpaceX and Tesla and is intended to produce chips for robotics, aerospace, and artificial intelligence applications.
