GM midweek
The whole “quantum threat to Bitcoin” conversation is starting to feel a bit more real lately.
Not loud, but definitely moving.
What caught my attention is what @quipnetwork is rolling out through Postquant Labs.
They’re introducing quantum-resistant wallet protection now, not years down the line.
Built on Arch Network and using WOTS+, it adds a security layer without touching the core protocol.
No forks, no waiting on consensus, no disruption to how Bitcoin already works.
That’s a different approach compared to ongoing debates like BIP-361.
Instead of waiting for a network-wide decision, they’re building something that works alongside it.
More like a layer you can opt into.
And when you consider how much BTC could be at risk if current cryptography gets broken, it starts to make sense why this matters.
Nothing urgent on the surface.
But definitely something to keep an eye on.
Feels like the early stages of a shift that will become more obvious over time.
