Anthropic Plans to Invest $200 Billion in Google, Exceeding 40% of Reported Revenue Backlog

According to monitoring by Dongcha Beating, when Google announced last month that it would provide Anthropic with up to 5 gigawatts of server capacity, the two parties did not disclose the specific amount of the commitment. However, according to a knowledgeable source, as part of an agreement set to take effect next year, Anthropic plans to pay Google approximately $200 billion over the next five years. This commitment means that Anthropic accounts for more than 40% of the ‘revenue backlog’ total disclosed by Google to investors last week.
