You can reference and learn from the ideas of Buffett and Duan Yongping, but their investments are generally just average—at least for me. For example, they both missed this round of the AI boom. It’s not that they’re not capable; I just don’t like their style. They’re already billionaires and don’t need to make that much money. We want to make more, and buying those traditional companies isn’t interesting. I like Dan Bin—full-on, all-in on the AI industry. A few years ago, I bet heavily on Nvidia as my largest position. Now I’ve rotated into Google as my largest position. Not only did I get it right, but I got it right twice—and I’m fully invested. You learn from Buffett by holding a bunch of cash to bottom-fish, just to do it.
