Solana and Google Launch AI Agent Stablecoin Payment Gateway
Techub News reports that, according to crypto.news, the Solana Foundation has partnered with Google Cloud to launch Pay.sh, a payment gateway supporting stablecoins that allows AI agents to pay for Google Cloud services and API fees on demand using stablecoins on Solana, without subscriptions or accounts. The service is built on the x402 open payment standard and the Machine Payments Protocol, supporting Google Cloud APIs such as Gemini, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and over 50 community API providers. Payments are made directly via the HTTP 402 status code, aiming to provide AI agents with native internet payment capabilities without traditional billing processes, leveraging Solana’s low fees and fast settlement features for small transactions.
