Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data keep "stuttering"? It's not your internet slow; most of the time, it's the indexer/subgraph tracking the chain. When there are many blocks or reorgs, it has to roll back and recalculate, making the frontend look like it suddenly froze;

Plus, with RPC rate limiting, especially during airdrop season when everyone is doing tasks and checking points, the interfaces get overwhelmed. Task platforms also have anti-bot measures, making various queries more frequent.
Goumao (scavenger) players really feel like they're clocking in at work with all this competition...
Anyway, don’t jump to the conclusion that the project is collapsing just because of lag. Wait two minutes first, or switch nodes or check later.
If you can only keep one habit, it’s to assume that all “data anomalies” are just infrastructure catching its breath, and not to react emotionally right away.
