C919 Large Aircraft's First Flight Anniversary - April Flight Volume Up 117.9% Year-over-Year

On May 5th, China’s domestically produced large aircraft, the C919, celebrated its 9th anniversary of its first flight. Data from Flight Manager shows that by the end of April 2026, the C919 had operated over 42k commercial passenger flights, with its operational scale continuously expanding. In April 2026 alone, the number of flights operated reached 3,190, a significant year-on-year increase of 117.9%, demonstrating strong market operational capability. Regarding the route network, since its entry into service, the C919 has operated a total of 57 round-trip routes (113 one-way routes), covering 29 airports, including 28 domestic airports and one Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan airport (Hong Kong, China), with the route layout steadily expanding.
