Fei-Fei Li appointed as CSO, AI gaming platform Astrocade raises $56 million led by Sequoia

CryptoWorld News reports that Fei-Fei Li, who joined the AI gaming platform Astrocade as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), has announced the completion of a $56 million fundraise. The funding includes a Series A led by SEA and a Series B led by Sequoia Capital, along with follow-on investments from Google AI Futures Fund, NVIDIA, LG Technology Ventures, Dentsu Ventures, and others. Astrocade was founded by Amir Sadeghian (CEO, Stanford PhD) and Ali Sadeghian (CTO, former Google AI researcher). Its core function is to let users describe their ideas in natural language, while AI generates playable games within minutes. The platform has been live for 8 months, has amassed more than 20 million users and 5 million monthly active users, and has logged more than 140 million game experience sessions per month. The funding will be used to expand the team and optimize the generation capabilities of AI agents to support global user growth.
