$ZEC Don’t just treat it as a privacy coin—its core lies in the underlying technology.

Many people think ZEC is just “anonymous transfers,” but the real key is the zero-knowledge proof zk-SNARKs behind it. With this setup, verification can still be completed without exposing transaction information, which is fundamentally different from ordinary chains. ZEC itself has two address structures: one is public, and the other is private. The public one is similar to BTC—every piece of data can be checked. The private one hides both the amount and the address, leaving only proof that the transaction exists. More importantly, it’s not simply “invisible”—it uses mathematical proofs to replace data verification. Nodes don’t need to know the details in order to confirm that the transaction is valid; that’s the true technical barrier.

From a order book perspective, this kind of mechanism will reduce the reference value of on-chain data. Many fund movements can’t be seen, which actually gives major players more room to operate.

So ZEC isn’t a long-standing coin with nothing to say—it’s a project whose technical foundation has been there all along. Once the privacy narrative returns, there’s a possibility that this type of coin will be re-spotlighted by the market.
