Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Focus on developing product standards and performance testing standards for consumer terminals based on new technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.
Mars Finance News: On May 6, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publicly solicited opinions on the “Implementation Plan for Improving and Leading the Quality Revolution of Light Industry Products through Standards (Draft for Comments).”
The draft for comments proposes to accelerate the development and application of urgently needed standards.
On the production side, the focus is on standardization needs for typical digital scenarios such as digital R&D and design, flexible manufacturing, equipment preventive maintenance, online quality monitoring, and supply chain collaborative management, as well as researching and formulating basic common standards like data interfaces and communication protocols, and key technical standards such as intelligent control and cloud-edge collaboration, along with standards for industry-specific applications and effectiveness evaluation.
On the consumer end, the emphasis is on developing product standards and performance testing standards based on new technologies like the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, to lead and regulate the development of new industry ecosystems such as smart homes, smart wearables, and smart cycling.
Vigorously promote the application of existing standards such as digital workshops, intelligent factories, and smart parks, and accelerate the cultivation and construction of a batch of high-level standard application pilot projects. (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website)
