Manta Network announces the termination of the staking program
Manta Network announces the termination of the MANTA staking program after concluding that staking rewards from new token issuance could dilute the value for all holders over time.
Staking rewards will officially cease after two weeks. Operators can withdraw immediately, while delegators can unstake at any time through the dashboard. The project states that users’ funds remain safe and under their control.
Alongside this change, Manta Network announced it will operate the Manta Pacific Layer 2 infrastructure completely independently, no longer relying on third-party operators. The shutdown plan for Manta Atlantic is also being implemented according to the previously announced roadmap.
This move marks a major adjustment in how Manta Network organizes its infrastructure and staking mechanism. No further details about upcoming changes have been provided beyond the announcement of the program’s end and the transition to an independent operational model.
