Anchorage has partnered with Google Cloud to launch a banking agent service, allowing AI agents to access and transfer funds without human intervention.
The new service provides AI agents with verifiable transaction identities, preset spending limits, access rights, usage policies, and audit features to support compliance.
Google Cloud will handle an intelligent layer, enabling AI agents to “detect, negotiate, and coordinate” with each other.
Anchorage co-founder and CEO said this sector has the potential to become a $1 trillion market. No further details are available yet regarding the scope of deployment or when the service will be more widely implemented.
