Recently, I’ve been seeing the community revolve around new narratives again, and I’ve actually started to feel a bit exhausted. The attention economy, simply put, is: the more urgently you chase, the easier it is to buy in at the most emotionally expensive moments. My little trick is pretty crude: when hot topics flood the screens, don’t look at the K-line first; instead, check what’s actually happening on the chain, like whether the routing has been overwhelmed, if slippage suddenly increased, or if liquidity providers have withdrawn. I only pay more attention if there’s really a change in the “fee structure,” otherwise I just treat it as noise.
These days, the debate over privacy coins/mixing coins and compliance boundaries has been quite fierce. When emotions run high, it’s easy to mistake “opinions” for “signals,” and then I get itchy hands. Anyway, I’m only keeping a very small position for myself as an experiment now. If I’m wrong, I admit it. Don’t treat attention as an asset to add more to… that’s all for now.
