Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bryan Pellegrino, co-founder and CEO of LayerZero Labs, responded to the controversy surrounding KelpDAO on the X platform, stating that most of the recent allegations against KelpDAO are “completely false.” He mentioned that Kelp initially used the default MultiDVN or DeadDVN configuration, but on-chain records show that it was manually changed to a 1/1 configuration on April 1, 2024, while official documentation repeatedly recommended using a 2/3 configuration in production environments.

Bryan Pellegrino said that the DeadDVN mechanism will reject transaction paths that are not correctly configured with DVN to prevent applications from running with default parameters directly, and he stated that the LayerZero team had previously provided clear configuration recommendations to KelpDAO. He also revealed that a full analysis report will be published after confirmation by an external security firm.
