I used to think that the pool of chain games only needed more people and tasks to keep turning, the more you grind, the more you earn, and anyway the coin will go up... Now I realize that once the output exceeds the actual consumption, inflation is like turning on a faucet, and the pool looks lively but is actually leaking. In the end, it’s just old players smashing in, new players joining, and no one feels good.

Recently, I also saw the "attention mining" and fan token schemes, basically "attention is mining." To put it simply, attention isn't demand; at most, it counts as one-time traffic. Without a continuous consumption scenario and recycling mechanism, attention will only be seen as a new source of output, getting thinner and thinner the more you mine. I’m taking it slow now, rather picking up shells during the tide retreat, and I’m not really into those "happy pools" with output written on their faces. That’s how I’ll go for now.
