The Art of War: Emotional Intelligence



Being good at talking: is an art, a cultivation, and also what you call high emotional intelligence!
A person with high emotional intelligence, no matter the occasion, is very good at smoothing things over!

Below are a few sentences you must remember; they might help you in the future!

1. To your wife, don't say "anything is fine," say "I will listen to you!"
2. To colleagues, don't say "it's okay," say "you're amazing!"
3. To subordinates, don't say "you can't do it," say "you have great potential!"
4. At a dinner party, when offered a toast, don't say "I don't drink," say "I'm good at pouring wine!"
5. To strangers, don't ask "what's your name," ask "what should I call you?"
6. To someone you dislike, don't say "I dislike you," say "you're really interesting!"
7. When encountering someone impressive, don't say "you're awesome," say "the expert is right here beside me!"
8. When a friend loses money, don't say "it's gone," say "a blessing in disguise, who knows if it's a good thing?"
9. When seeking advice, don't say "I don't know," say "I'd like to hear your opinions and suggestions!"
10. In any conversation, learn to pause; don't rush to speak immediately!

Remember: A kind word warms the winter, but harsh words can make the summer cold!
