Approximately 873k travelers entered Macau during the May Day holiday.

The Public Security Police Force of the Macao SAR Government released data on the 6th showing that during the May Day holiday, the total passenger flow through all border crossings in Macao was 3.81M, an increase of 1.6% year-on-year, with approximately 873k inbound travelers.
In terms of source regions, travelers from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and foreign countries accounted for 83%, 10.8%, 1.3%, and 4.9%, respectively.
The data also shows that on May 2nd, Macao’s inbound and outbound passenger flow broke three single-day records, namely: total crossing flow of 889k, inbound travelers of 248k, and nearly 148k crossings at the Hengqin port.
