Trump: Progress with Iran, "Freedom Plan" will be paused in the short term

Golden Finance reports that on May 6th, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a statement saying that, based on requests from Pakistan and other countries, and in light of our significant military victories in the fight against Iran, as well as substantial progress made toward a comprehensive final agreement with Iran, both sides have agreed that while the blockade measures will remain in effect, the “Freedom Plan” (i.e., the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz) will be temporarily suspended to observe whether the agreement can ultimately be reached and signed.
