Recently, I've seen the secondary market treating the royalty switch as a button to press back and forth, with creators complaining, traders complaining, and everyone feeling like they've been exploited. Frankly, once royalties become "voluntary," it's as awkward as writing tips into a menu: you hope people care about sentiment, but the market only recognizes friction costs.

What's even more ridiculous is that macroeconomic discussions are once again debating rate cut expectations. The dollar index and risk assets sometimes rise and fall together, sometimes move in opposite directions... In such an environment, everyone prefers liquidity and certainty, and there's no patience to pay extra for "long-term income for creators." No matter how good the narrative is, if the market doesn't cooperate, it's all pointless.

What I've learned isn't techniques, but that no matter how rules are written on-chain, ultimately, it's human nature that votes.
