When funding rates are extreme, the group starts shouting "bottom fishing / shorting" wildly.

I used to love to fight against the opposing side, thinking I could catch that reversal.
Now I’m being honest: first ask, who is paying in this wave, and who is forced to hold the position?
If it’s driven by emotion + leverage stacking up, I’ll take a small position against the opposing side, and the rest I’d rather avoid the volatility, waiting for it to unwind on its own.
Honestly, extreme funding rates don’t mean an immediate reversal; more often, it’s “it can get crazier.”
The inflation + studio + coin price spiral in blockchain games is actually the same vibe: the mechanism pushes people to the same side, and when it collapses, you can’t even withdraw.
Anyway, I’d rather miss out now than be the last to hold the bag.
