Just finished reviewing a smart contract for an on-chain "yield" product, and the comment section is still comparing it to RWA and U.S. bond yields... Honestly, the attention economy is just that: the more anxious you are, the easier it is to be led by the rhythm. Now that I see hot topics rotating, I ask myself first: am I looking at the risk, or am I chasing the narrative? When the hype rises, everyone only focuses on "annualized returns," but who is actually holding the permissions, pause switches, and underlying assets in the contract? These are the real points that can cut into you. Anyway, I’d rather miss out and wait for the hype to pass before reviewing the data and permission structures again, sleep on it, and then decide—at least I won’t be paying tuition at the peak of emotion.
