Don't be scared by words like "data availability/ordering/finality," essentially it's just one thing: Has everyone seen this transaction, who’s order was it inserted into the block, and will there be any retractions in the end? If you only focus on the price and ignore these three things, impulsively placing an order is like crossing the street with your eyes closed.
Recently, hardware wallets are out of stock again, phishing links are everywhere. The more these situations occur, the less you should rush to click confirm. I’m quite old-fashioned about avoiding impulsive actions: I prepare to place an order, first put my phone aside, wash my hands, then come back to check; if I still want to buy, I cut the amount in half, if I don’t want to buy anymore, then forget it. Anyway, missing one "quick hand" is more reliable than making one "smarter" move.
