Last night before bed, I checked the blockchain and saw the mempool was lining up again. I just wanted to add an interaction, but the transaction felt like standing in front of a ticket machine: first broadcasting it out, then waiting for miners/validators to pick and pack, and if the gas is too low, it stays "pending," if it's too high, it hurts. The most annoying part is thinking that clicking submit is the end, but in reality, it might get replaced, reordered, or even canceled/accelerated if it takes too long, and that frantic anxiety is familiar, right?… At this moment, seeing Meme and celebrity shoutouts distracts attention, and the blockchain instantly gets congested. Veteran users say not to take the last step—that's really not just for show. Anyway, I now prefer to watch the congestion before acting; I’d rather be slow than miss a snapshot because of a stuck transaction.
