U.S. stock futures extend gains after Trump announces suspension of free plan

Golden Finance reports that on May 6th, after U.S. President Trump announced a suspension of the “Freedom Plan,” U.S. stock futures continued their earlier gains. Trump stated that he would suspend the U.S.-led efforts to help stranded ships leave the Strait of Hormuz to see if an agreement to end the war could be reached with Iran. Nasdaq 100 futures rose more than 1% at one point; S&P 500 futures rose 0.5% at one point. (Sina Finance)
