GameStop's $55.5B eBay bid puts $368M Bitcoin position in focus
GameStop submitted a non-binding $55.5 billion cash-and-stock offer to buy eBay at $125 per share. The proposal has renewed questions about whether GameStop could sell about $368 million of bitcoin to help fund the deal. GameStop said it could use $9.4 billion of cash and liquid investments and up to $20 billion in financing backed by a TD Securities letter.
