Anonymous Cryptocurrency Whale Sues Coinbase for Refusing to Return Stolen Funds
On May 6, an anonymous cryptocurrency whale filed a lawsuit against Coinbase, claiming that the platform refused to return its stolen funds. The stolen funds are reportedly linked to a $55 million phishing attack involving DAI in 2024. The victim stated that investigators have connected the stolen assets to Coinbase, but Coinbase allegedly will not return these assets without a court order.
