Been in the crypto chat group for a long time, and today I still want to say: Overload of information, really don’t always blame “KOLs setting the pace.” As messages flood the screen, anyone can toss out a couple of words like “inside info” or “about to take off,” after seeing it enough, hands start to itch, and frankly, the final decision to buy is made by yourself. KOLs are mostly just loudspeakers, the group is the echo chamber, when emotions resonate, impulsiveness feels like it’s been legitimized.

Recently, the debates over privacy coins and mixing coins, which push the boundaries of compliance, are also following the same pattern: stance first, evidence added later, the more they argue, the more they feel “if I don’t pick a side, I’ll miss out.” My current simple method is: when I want to chase a move, first turn off the group for ten minutes, go check the on-chain data to see if it matches the narrative… if not, forget it; missing out is better than buying recklessly. That’s it for now.
