GameStop has made a $55.5 billion cash-and-stock offer for eBay, valuing the marketplace at $125 a share. The proposal raises the question of whether a BTC-holding company could extend Bitcoin use from treasury holdings into marketplace payments. eBay said its board is reviewing the unsolicited bid and advised shareholders to take no action.
