Lately, I've seen a bunch of PFPs and membership cards talking about "brands," basically just trying to lock in attention first.


There’s definitely short-term excitement, but whether it’s worth it long-term depends on whether they can embed relationships into the rules: Are rights clear? Can they be renewed? Is community governance just slogans...
Otherwise, once the hype passes, it’s like my server room losing power—everything’s gone.
Modularization and the DA layer narrative have developers pretty excited recently, but users are just confused.
I actually think now is the time to be more restrained: don’t take complex concepts as a moat, because in the end, you’re only trapping yourself.
I still believe: truly useful members aren’t just about “joining groups,” but about being able to clearly explain responsibilities and boundaries when things go wrong.
