By the close of trading that day, the light crude oil futures for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped $4.15, closing at $102.27 per barrel, a decrease of 3.9%. The London Brent crude oil futures for July delivery fell $4.57, closing at $109.87 per barrel, a decrease of 3.99%.
