Recently, the new testing pool was again urged in the group, "Aren't you looking at the chain? Why are you still a half beat behind"… Basically, what you see as "on-chain" is often the version provided by nodes/RPCs/indices, not an omniscient perspective. If an RPC stalls, an indexer isn't synchronized, or even returns outdated data directly, you stare at the browser thinking you're viewing real-time data, but it's like watching a delayed live broadcast. By the time you jump in, the pool has already been emptied by others.

Airdrop season makes this even more obvious. The task platform's anti-witchcraft + point system forces the sniping crowd to turn into clock-in workers. Everyone is frantically checking interactions, but many of the "you didn't do it / you did it" judgments are also based on the data source’s face… I now prefer to check multiple nodes, casually observe fund flows and contract permissions. If it’s slow, so be it. At least I won’t die unfairly. The group chat atmosphere is quite real: half are competing fiercely, half are complaining, and everyone is pretty exhausted.
