He said: “We cannot let the Iranian regime decide who uses this vital waterway.” After Trump announced the “Freedom Plan,” violent clashes broke out in the region on Monday. Trump described the plan as a humanitarian effort aimed at guiding neutral ships trapped in the Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz.
