DTCC Sets July Pilot, October Launch for Tokenized Securities Trading

DTCC said it will start a tokenized securities trading pilot in July and plans a full platform launch in October. The service will sit inside its DTC system and let companies issue digital versions of assets with the same ownership rights. DTCC said more than 50 firms, including BlackRock and JPMorgan, gave feedback on the initiative.
