I tend to get itchy to reduce my holdings whenever the market heats up, but when assets are spread across multiple chains, it becomes even easier to get overwhelmed... Currently, I mainly focus on three things: the main wallet only holds long-term and "sleepable" assets, the hot wallet is dedicated to interactions, and small amounts are used for testing; keep some gas on each chain as a fee, and don't switch around randomly at the last minute. Also, once a week, I copy down the balances (basically doing account reconciliation), and take screenshots to save, so I won't even trust myself someday. On-chain data tools/tags have recently been criticized for lagging behind and possibly misleading, so I no longer blindly trust those "who are you" tags. I prefer to name key addresses myself, even if it's simpler, rather than being led astray by a bunch of flashy labels. Anyway, less fussing means fewer mistakes, so that's how I do it for now.
