Lately I keep seeing a bunch of buzzwords thrown around: data availability, ordering, finality… Basically, I focus on one main point: can your transaction actually be seen by everyone, will it be front-run, and does it count in the end.

Can see = don’t just have a hash with no follow-up;
Front-running = don’t get snatched by someone else rushing ahead, thinking you’re slow;
Counting = don’t have it rolled back after a couple of days as if nothing happened.
The RWA approach is pretty funny too, comparing US Treasury yields to on-chain yield products—anyway, I first want to see clearly where the yield comes from and whether it might be “optimized” away by ordering/settlement.
There’s too much information, which really causes anxiety. My filtering method is pretty crude: first, check if anyone is actually using it on-chain (active users/fees/failure rate), then look at who has permission to change the rules in the mechanism.
Other terms… I’ll just put them in the freezer for now.
