CryptoWorld News reports that OpenAI announced on Tuesday that it has updated the default ChatGPT model to respond more accurately and personally, while reducing unnecessary use of emojis. GPT-5.5 Instant is being rolled out to all ChatGPT users and API, with enhanced personalization features initially available only to web-based Plus and Pro users. The new model will leverage more user context information, including past chats, uploaded files, and connected Gmail accounts. OpenAI also added a "Memory Source" control feature, allowing users to see some of the contextual information ChatGPT uses for personalized responses, delete or correct outdated memories, and use temporary chats that do not call or update memories.
