Southern Power: Revises 2025 Performance Outlook to a Loss of 890 Million to 1.25 Billion Yuan

Nandu Power disclosed a revised forecast of its 2025 performance, estimating a loss of 2.4 billion to 2.8 billion yuan in 2025, compared to a previous estimate of a loss of 890 million to 1.25 billion yuan; the same period last year saw a loss of 1.5B yuan.
Reason for the performance revision: Affected by the long-term inversion of prices between waste batteries and lead, the full-owned subsidiary Huabo Recycled Resources has continued to face operational pressure and incur ongoing losses.
The company has decided to agree to Huabo Recycled Resources ceasing operations, and will fully provision for asset impairment on its long-term assets such as buildings and machinery.
The estimated impairment amount is about 1.3 billion yuan; the company is experiencing tight liquidity, and there are obstacles to the delivery of existing orders.
The company is optimizing and adjusting its business model, and these adjustments may significantly impact the operational efficiency of some entities and future profitability.
