Recently, I’ve been running a few testnets again, and I feel like this whole thing was originally just practice: getting familiar with bridges, wallets, how to save on gas. But once you start calculating “possible points,” your mindset can easily shift, turning into daily task chasing and getting more and more obsessed. Especially now, when new L1/L2 incentives immediately boost TVL, old users complain about “mining, selling, and dumping,” which isn’t without reason; many people go into it with expectations.

My own stop-loss is pretty simple: set a limit first (how much time/fees I’ll spend per week), and stop if I exceed it; then cut down the “must-do” list to just two or three items, and ignore the rest as if I didn’t see them. Honestly, practice can be repeated, but expectations shouldn’t be endlessly increased. Once it starts affecting sleep or work, it’s no longer worth it… That’s it for now. When there are real rules and real ways to verify value, I can continue then.
