Recently, whenever there’s a change in interest rates, I clearly don’t dare to fully load my positions… To put it simply, risk appetite has changed, and liquidity in new pools and long-tail tokens on the chain has dried up first, making slippage and squeezes more intense. Ultimately, it translates to myself as “the same swap, but the cost is more painful.” So now I prefer to make fewer moves rather than forcibly swap just to chase those small fluctuations.
Lately, the narrative around AI Agents and automated trading has heated up again. It’s indeed more convenient, but I see many people treating “automatic” as “safe”… Once permissions are granted and routing is set up, it’s pretty obvious who’s just hyping safety and who’s actually concerned about it. I’ve personally set limits and alerts first, especially not giving unlimited authorization. Setting those up makes me feel much more at ease, and when I see the market jumping around later, I don’t get as worked up. At most, I’ll just calmly check again when the alert sounds: is this trade really worth paying that much slippage?
