Danish Broadcasting Corporation reported on the 5th, citing a statement from Danish shipping company Maersk that a car carrier operated by its subsidiary safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz on the 4th. Maersk stated in a statement, “The car carrier ‘Alliance Fairfax’ did not encounter any incidents during its passage.” The vessel was previously located in the Persian Gulf and was unable to leave the area due to ongoing security concerns.
