My international driver's license has been issued. It used to be possible to apply directly through Ctrip, thanks to Teacher Chen Jian's reminder.

As long as you carry the original driver's license, it can be used in the United States, Southeast Asia, many European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Basically, except for Japan and South Korea, the vast majority of countries can be used directly.
For digital nomads traveling abroad, having a car or not makes two very different experiences. Although some countries drive on the right side and require an adaptation period at first, once you get the hang of it, it doesn't affect driving at all.
