Golden Finance reports that on May 5th, Crypto.com announced that its Chief Marketing Officer Steven Kalifowitz will officially step down on June 30th, and will subsequently serve as an advisor to the company’s CEO. During his nearly six-year tenure, Kalifowitz led the company’s over $1 billion in brand marketing and partnership investments, driving Crypto.com from a trading app to a globally recognized crypto brand. This includes a $700 million, 20-year stadium naming rights partnership (Crypto.com Arena), and a $100 million advertising campaign in collaboration with Matt Damon. Additionally, the company has reached high-profile partnerships with Formula 1, UFC, and others. This personnel change marks a strategic adjustment in Crypto.com’s brand strategy.
