Lately, I’ve really started to understand the “attention economy”: when a hot topic changes, everyone’s mind is like being squeezed by a cross-chain bridge, memory wiped clean, and the wallet pays the toll first. To put it simply, don’t chase the story, chase the tools—every time a new narrative rushes in, I first ask three questions: where does the money come from, who can run first, am I the last to hold the baton. If I can’t answer, I just pretend I didn’t see it, at most I watch from the sidelines.

The debate over NFT royalties is pretty typical: on one hand, they say creators need to make a living, on the other hand, they say secondary liquidity is vital. Anyway, the ones who usually foot the bill are the most emotionally charged. My simple trick: give myself a “cooling-off window” for hot topics, 24 hours before acting; if I really want to jump in, only use an amount I don’t mind losing, buy and immediately write a line “Why did I buy this,” then check back in a couple of days to see if it was just hype… It works pretty well.
