Coinbase Cuts About 700 Jobs in AI-Led Restructuring

Coinbase is cutting about 14% of its workforce, or roughly 700 jobs, in a restructuring tied to AI-driven automation. Coinbase shares rose as much as 4% in early Tuesday trading after the announcement. The exchange expects $50 million to $60 million in restructuring charges, mostly in the second quarter.
