I found that unrealized losses really bother people more than unrealized gains when it comes to sleep... Clearly just numbers on the account, but the mind automatically translates it into "You chose wrong" "You shouldn't have bought." When it's unrealized gains, I feel pretty calm, maybe subconsciously thinking it doesn't really belong to me, and I could lose it at any time.
Recently, seeing new L1/L2 projects releasing incentives to boost TVL, a bunch of old users are complaining about "mining, selling," and I also get anxious: do I have to keep an eye on on-chain wallets moving assets around, and if I’m a bit slow, I’ll lose out. Last night, I almost impulsively uninstalled my trading app, thinking it would be better to not see it and avoid stress... But then I remembered I actually prefer slowly collecting art-oriented things, royalties, holder structures—these are what give me a sense of security I understand. I’ll hold back for now, look at fewer fluctuations, and focus more on the works.
